Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GreenCube desktop application and related websites (together, "GreenCube"). GreenCube is operated by Edunexis SL (CIF B01816446) ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance

By using GreenCube, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use GreenCube.

2. What GreenCube does

GreenCube is a local-first desktop AI assistant for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Its AI models and memory run on your computer.

GreenCube may help draft content, summarize information, answer questions, read documents and images you give it, and produce study material. You are responsible for reviewing and approving outputs before relying on them or sending them to others.

2A. Direct Mode and model governance

Direct Mode asks eligible local models to provide maximum lawful assistance with minimal viewpoint filtering. It does not make every output lawful, accurate, or unrestricted, and it does not override applicable law, third-party rights, model licenses, acceptable-use policies, or cloud-provider rules. Different models may respond differently because their weights and licenses differ.

Mature content is a separate optional setting for adults aged 18 or older. It does not permit sexual content involving minors, coercion, exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or other unlawful material. You must not enable it if you are under 18.

Direct Mode changes how GreenCube answers; it does not expand its authority to act. Authentication secrets, payments, destructive operations, publishing, and outbound communications may require a manual handoff or a separate preview and confirmation.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• Use GreenCube only for lawful purposes.
• Keep your device and the account you sign in with secure.
• Review AI-generated output before using it.
• Obtain any required rights or permissions for content and files you give to GreenCube.
• Not use GreenCube to harm others, violate privacy, send spam, or bypass security controls.
• Not use GreenCube for child sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, unauthorized access, credential theft, malware deployment, fraud, impersonation, doxxing, targeted violence, threats, harassment, or evasion of applicable law.

4. Connected services

The current version of GreenCube does not connect to third-party accounts such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GitHub, Slack or Notion. Your chats and documents are stored on your computer.

GreenCube uses the internet to download the AI models you choose, to check for updates, to sign you in once to activate your license, and — only while you have the Online switch on — to look things up on the web. Online starts off every time you open GreenCube. Our Privacy Policy explains what is sent in each case. If connected accounts are offered in a future version they will be opt-in, and these terms will be updated before that happens.

5. AI output

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Do not rely on GreenCube as a substitute for professional advice, including legal, medical, financial, safety, or security advice.

6. Local data and backups

GreenCube stores important app data locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up data you want to keep and for deleting data you no longer want stored locally.

7. Third-party credentials

The current version of GreenCube does not offer cloud AI models or connected accounts and does not ask you to provide third-party API keys.

8. Updates and changes

We may update GreenCube or these Terms. Updates may add, change, or remove features. If you continue using GreenCube after changes become effective, you accept the updated Terms.

9. Ownership

GreenCube, including its app, website, text, design, code, and related materials, is owned by us or used with permission from others. These Terms let you use GreenCube; they do not transfer ownership of GreenCube to you.

10. Termination

You may stop using GreenCube at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to related online services if you violate these Terms, create risk, or use GreenCube unlawfully.

11. Disclaimers

GreenCube is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of GreenCube.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Cartagena (Murcia), Spain have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.

14. Payment, price, and refunds

GreenCube is sold as a one-time purchase of €9.99 (EUR), processed by our payment provider, Stripe. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers). If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase of digital content. Because GreenCube is delivered digitally and is available to use immediately, by downloading or activating it you expressly ask us to begin performance right away and acknowledge that you lose this statutory right of withdrawal once the download begins.

Our voluntary refund policy. Even so, if GreenCube isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you — no complicated questions. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Because GreenCube checks your license once and then works offline, a copy already activated on a computer cannot be switched off remotely; after a refund, the license can no longer be used to activate GreenCube again.
