Terms of Service

These Terms govern GreenCube, the desktop app, and the websites greencube.app and legal.greencube.app (together, "GreenCube"). GreenCube is sold and operated by Edunexis SL (CIF B01816446, C/ Jorge Juan 16 - 4ºA, 30204 Cartagena, Murcia, Spain) ("we", "us"). You can read these Terms in English or in Spanish; both versions say the same thing.

1. What GreenCube is

GreenCube is an app for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) that runs AI models on your own computer. You can chat, write, read documents and images, make study material, slides, web pages and code, and create images. How fast it runs, and which features are on by default, depends on your computer (for example, making images needs at least 12 GB of memory). The quick check on our website and the app’s first-run test show what your computer can do.

GreenCube is an AI system. Its answers and images are generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important before relying on it. It is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, safety or similar).

2. Your licence

When you pay, you buy a perpetual licence to your copy of GreenCube: you pay once and your licence never expires. You may install and use GreenCube on the computers you personally use, for your own personal use. The software, its code and the GreenCube name and brand remain the property of Edunexis SL; your licence lets you use your copy, it does not give you the software itself.

The AI models GreenCube downloads are made by third parties and come with their own open-source licences, which you can find in the app.

3. Activation and internet

To activate GreenCube you sign in once with the Google or Microsoft account whose email you paid with. That is how we recognise your purchase; there is no key. The app also needs internet the first time, to download the AI models, and it checks for updates. After that it works without internet. Web search works only while you switch Online on.

A copy that has been activated keeps working on that computer even without our servers. We provide updates, including security fixes, for as long as we reasonably can and at least for the period the law requires.

4. Price and payment

GreenCube costs €9.99 or US$9.99, paid once. The price includes any applicable taxes. There is no subscription and no later charge. Payment is processed by Stripe. We send a confirmation of your purchase to the email you paid with.

5. 15 days to change your mind

You have 15 days from your purchase to cancel and get a full refund: the 14 days the law gives consumers in the EU, plus one more day from us. You don’t need to give a reason, though we would love to know what went wrong. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days of your request. After a refund, your licence can no longer be used to activate GreenCube.

How to cancel. Email [email protected] with your name, the email you paid with and the date of purchase, saying that you want to cancel. You may use the model form at the end of these Terms, but you don’t have to.

6. Your legal guarantee

As a consumer you have the legal guarantee for digital content: if GreenCube does not work as described, we will fix it or, if we cannot, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer.

7. Using GreenCube responsibly

GreenCube runs on your computer and the things you create with it are yours. You are responsible for how you use it and what you do with what it makes. You agree not to use GreenCube to:

• create or share sexual content involving minors, or sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent;
• harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate or harm anyone, or invade their privacy;
• break into systems or accounts, create malware, or do anything else illegal where you live.

GreenCube includes safety measures, and some requests may be refused or blocked. Don’t try to remove or get around them.

8. Your files and backups

Your chats, files, memories and images are stored on your computer, not on our servers. Keep your own backups of anything you want to keep; if you uninstall GreenCube or your computer fails, we cannot recover them.

9. Updates and changes to these Terms

We may update GreenCube to fix problems, improve it or add and change features, without removing the core of what you paid for. If we change these Terms, we will publish the new version here with a new date; changes never take away rights you already have for a purchase you made earlier.

10. Liability

We are responsible for GreenCube as the law requires, including for damage caused by a defect in it. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for losses caused by how you use AI-generated output, or for problems caused by third-party software or models you add yourself, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Law and courts

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of the place where you live or in Spain, and we can only bring a claim against you in the courts of the place where you live.
